Guest guest
As is the norm, our list mom Chris is not responsible for the outcome of this buy. I take that responsibility on. Thanks Chris for allowing ad day! Monoi de Tahiti (aka Cocos Nucifera & Gardenia Tahitensis) This oil is only made in French Polynesia. It is done by macerating 10 young unopened Tiare flowers per liter of coconut oil. The flowers give the oil its unique properties of superior skin hydration. It has been tested against petroleum jelly, shea butter, jojoba and others. It was shown to be a more effective skin hydrator since it has penetrating qualities. Women in Tahiti have used this oil for generations to keep their skin young looking and wrinkle free. They also use it for a hair conditioner and it has been laboratory tested to show that it does indeed help repair the hair shaft. This Monoi is coming directly from one of only a few manufacturers of Monoi de Tahiti oil. They are a member of an organization that the manufacturers have formed to keep quality control over monoi. This oil DOES come with the “Appellation of Origin” which is a guarantee of the source and the quality of the oil. Apparently there are a lot of fakes out there. There are different true monoi oils out there as well that smell differently than each other. I’ve purchased and sampled lots and settled on 2 that I like the best. That is what I am offering in the Bulk Buy/Co-op deal. The original Monoi de Tahiti is NOT SCENTED or Fragranced enhanced and does NOT have a scent of Gardenia. This is considered Fragrance Free and is the choice of toiletry manufacturers that want to formulate using Monoi, but do not want the Gardenia scent. The type of Monoi that most are using and may be familiar with is the Fragrance Enhanced “Tiki” or “Tiare”. Some will try to have you believe that this is the only Monoi and the only real Monoi, but trust me, it isn’t. This one is the one that has been enhanced with additional Tiare flowers and natural essences to get the strong Tahitian Gardenia fragrance into the oil. It can practically be used as a perfume all on its own. This oil has a very long shelf life and so be sure to stock up! This oil retails for $9.95 per 4 oz bottle on average and up to $30.00 per pound! Pricing for each is as follows: $26.00 32 fl oz $50.00 ½ Gallon jug $120.00 10 lb jug All amounts are packaged in a HDPE bottle, NOT a wide mouth container. It’s getting hot and this WILL leak using a wide mouth. It’s not hard to melt it should you need to, to get it out of the bottles. You can always melt it once and put it into your own wide mouth containers should you choose to. Hostess Fee $3.50 (covers boxes, packing material etc) I will take orders May 26, 2005 – May 31, 2005 Please email all orders to me at naturalindulgences Include Name, address, phone number, type of monoi and amount ordering. I will invoice using Quickbooks. I will be ordering the monoi on June 1, 2005 and so payments will need to be in by that time. I will ship orders out in as timely a fashion as possible after receiving the order. It should only take up to a week to process the order and for me to receive it. Payment Methods Accepted: Paypal (even credit cards), check, money order or credit cards through my web sites secure server or can be called in to the number on invoice. Shipping: Shipping method will be determined later. I just received the bottles for packaging and now will find suitable boxes so that I can give correct shipping quotes.
