Jeanne Rose wrote an article on Lilacs that includes this method for

extraction. I learned of this method through her, so I will direct you

to the source. Her method requires a lot of patience but has good

results. I know she has mentioned this procedure even going beyond a

full season- she will put the extraction in the freezer until the next

season and then begin again. She is a great source of knowledge ;-)
