Howdy everyone, still having pootie problems but I think most of them are

under control now.

As ya all know, Squirrel, my old cat died and that left Biggles. Biggles is

almost 4 and has never been an only cat. When Squirrel died, he got very

depressed, started losing weight, didn't eat much and when he got out, he

wouldn't come home for two days on end. Then at night he would try to curl

up with the dog, but Algie's not much of a cat cuddler. Loves Biggles to

death but doesn't have a clue about cuddling with him.

So. Saturday I went out and found Cowboy. 8.5 week old male tabby cat (with

a tail. Kid's made me promise the next cat would have a tail). As you can

guess, he's trouble. But Biggles has settled down again. He's not sure if

the kitten is what he wanted hanging around the place and has had to swat

the uppity little monster a couple of times. BUT he's eating again, hanging

around the house and this morning my daughter " caught " Biggles and Cowboy

sleeping together. >sigh of relief<

I've never had to get a " therapeutic " kitten before. The timing is lousy as

we are planning to move BUT my Biggles is happier and we do have a cute

albeit a terror of a kitten in the bargain. So no complaints from anyone on

this end. ;-) Well, Biggles is complaining but takes his revenge by eating

Cowboy's food. And of course the necessary swat now and again to remind the

little beggar who's boss. ;-)

Cheers!
