Hmm,

I use a lot of Golden Jojoba and have been buying it for years and have

never smelled an odor and I usually buy from 3 different companies

depending on who gives me a good price. I would call the company and

tell them that your Jojoba has an odor, they may offer to replace it or

refund your money, that's what I would do.

HI,

Jojoba is not an oil - so technically it cant go rancid. I'd check to see

if you do indeed have pure jojoba.

Hi Debbie,

I agree with Michele,

Your jojoba doesn't sound right to me - unrefined or refined, it

shouldn't smell and especially shouldn't smell burned - yucky ;-p

I bought some Golden Jojoba last year that had that odor (from a

reputable source)- and it was very fresh and not rancid, but it was

also not unacceptable and usable for me. I returned it to the supplier.
