calming/stimulating? (was:yerba mate)

The following exchange took place:

Mate is indeed calming to the nervous system.>

 

<hmm- OK- my experience is very different- I have also seen (and experienced)the

same kind of withdrawal from YM that can happen with coffee- headaches,

exhaustion...>

 

Would you agree that different people can react

differently to substances?

One of my Reflex clients uses the gland-food formula

that most people find stimulating for calming.

And I know ADHD people who use coffee

to calm down and fall asleep.

 

Go figure!

I definite agree with the state " different people can react

differently to substances " There are medicines that should make me sleepy and

does make others sleepy but gives me energy and vise versa. So my answer is

yes.
