Guest guest
Dear Anya, Have you posted your information on " how to do " your tinctures and formulas? If so could I get you to send me the information? My Mother has been in the hospital all week and my lovely dh has managed to loose about 80 % of my email. So I am finally getting to read email and play catch-up tonight. My Mother recently " fell " (that is what we think happened) and fractured two vertabrae (T12 & L1). Last Friday she couldn't get out of bed and on Monday she fell trying to get up and go to the potty. At that point we thought that she had broken her hip so off to the hospital we went expecting the worst. The doctor took x-rays and did a MRI and found the two crushed vertabae and suggested surgery. Meantime, this 88 year old lady/child is talking to the air and trying to get out of bed. We had to put her in restraints. Was she ever MAD! I caught the " Go to He--! " several times from her. She decided that she just wasn't going to stay in the hospital or restraints. On Tuesday at lunch, I walked in to finish feeding her and I noticed her knife was gone so I figured that the nurse had taken it away for safety. Wrong! Mom had " stolen " & hidden the knife to do her thing. As I turned around I caught her doing something but couldn't quite see what. Well, she was attempting to " saw " her restraint straps. Then as I was turning back around she tried to hide the knife again. Then as I turned again I saw that she was " sawing " away at her straps. So I took the knife away. Needless to say she was extremely mad at me. Then she tried to get me to give her a pair of scissors. I said no. Then after a while she said that she was cold and would I get her gown so that she could get out of this cold jacket that she was wearing. I thought that the nurses really had their hands full when I was gone but we had to keep her from moving or she could have been paralyzed from the waist down for the rest of her life. We had explained why she had to be restrained but this old lady was not buying it. Well, tonight the doctor did surgery which was a success. Tomorrow, keeping our fingers crossed, hopefully, she will be moved to rehab for a few weeks and then home. So, Anya, again thank you for sending me the information if you have already posted it.
