Keep in mind that in Colorado, 8,000 feet isn't really that high up

*lol* - Denver is in the flat land at over 5,200 feet above sea level

and 8,000 is just " up the hill " as they say ... Many mountains there

reach over 14,000 feet above sea level (CO has more 14'ers, as they are

called there, than any state in The Union).

 

I never did so great with lavender when I lived there - sage - that was

my plant in CO *lol*
