Guest guest
I used to take Bextra for joint pain and it helped a lot (although I know it might have been slowly killing me). But sometime, a person will do just about anything to get relief. Now that Bextra is no longer available, I'm trying an herbal COX-2 inhibitor called " Zyflamend " by New Capter. It's advertised to reduce inflammation and pain. The ingredients are Rosemary, Turmeric, Ginger, Holy Basil, Green Tea, Hu Zhang, Chinese Goldthread, Barberry, Oregano, Scutellaria balcalensis. I've been taking this for 6 days, and have gotten almost no relief. My question is will continued use offer relief? I'm always hearing that herbal remedies take longer than pharmaceuticals, and I'm willing to suffer the pain for a while longer if I have a reasonable expectation of getting relief My problem is injuries caused by a fall. Bones have healed - soft tissues have not. Doc wants to do more surgery, but I'm reluctant. I thought the herbalists on this list might offer some information and advice about this product. Thanks so much. Mary
