I can imagine .. skeeters are pretty prolific critters. > So I make my own EO blends in the summer when I am doing lots > of yard work to keep them away, but I wondered if for my trip I might > need to make something different. Might wanna try Catnip (Nepeta cataria) .. it works for sure. I would dilute it to around 5% in Fractionated Coconut (stainless and washes out of clothing easily) .. http://www.av-at.com/catnip.html Its available on my web site. > I don't know if the insects are different in the south, if I can expect > more bites than here in PA. So if you live in Florida/S. USA and > can give me ANY information/recipe, OR if you have a product I > could buy from you, please contact me:) Suthran skeeters are smarter than Nawthen skeeters .. they live in a warm climate and wait for folks from colder climates. Last time I was in the Southeast I was sitting outside with some friends having a drink or three .. dang skeeters were up on a limb above our heads. Heard one of them say, " Should we eat'em here or take'em home with us. " Other one said, " Better eat'em here cause if we take'em home the big bullies will probably take'em away from us. " ;-) > -Trin. Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com Wholesale/Retail GC Tested EO, Rose Products, Tested Hydrosols and other nice things sent from our store in Friendsville, MD.
