TAN/AD: Fundraiser for a Friend

Dear Group,

 

As some of you know, I have a friend, Judith Whitaker, who lives in

Tampa, Florida and is very ill. She has a number of serious medical

ailments, including Hodgkins Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and a bad

heart. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy for the Hodgkins,

which makes her very ill for several days after each treatment. The

cost of the chemo, combined with the cost of the drugs she needs and

all her other medicines and support equipment, has put her into

serious financial distress. Her medicine and treatments are costing

her more than she can afford, even with her disability income and

part-time job.

 

I have decided to use my Mary Kay business to help raise money for

Judith by pledging 30% of all sales towards helping to alleviate her

expenses. You can help me out by purchasing Mary Kay products or by

scheduling and holding a facial, skin care class or party. I'll do

this for the whole month of April, since that is the month that I

celebrate my own birthday.

 

If you have any friends or family members who would also like to

purchase Mary Kay products, have a facial or host a class or party,

please pass this on to them, and they'll be helping Judith, too.

(Mary Kay products are great for mens' skin, too, and I promise not

to tattle!) And don't forget Mother's Day is coming up, so keep this

fundraiser in mind for your gift-giving needs.
