Guest guest
Afternoon all, Ross River Fever is a tick-bourne disease. Doesn't happen in the Sydney region, but the disease is progressing south, like cane toads! From what I have heard it is a virus so the use of antiviral essential oils would be of benefit also any oils to reduce the fever. I would look at some of the readily available oils (unless you have access to those usually used by Aromatherapists) such as Thyme (thymus vulgaris) Tea tree, Origano (Butch will give you a great run down on that one). I would use AUSTRALIAN Sandalwood for any itching. Any raised bumps will respond well to using a clay poultice. I would use Arglitz Green Clay as my preference. Actually with your sister being in Brisbane I would suggest a visit to Perfect Potions, that's Salvatore Battaglia's company I think everything you'd need would be there. There may be differences in what we both suggest, but Aromatherapists don't always see things the same way. Good luck! Regards Merinda When all else fail, cry!
