Rose Otto Lip Gloss .. err ... Candle???

Oh I totally had to share this blunder

 

I was making a batch of Rose Otto Lip Gloss for my show this weekend at

the Rockport Herb and Rose Study Groups Festival. I made it the

prettiest shade of pink with alkanet root powder, used shea butter in

it, added my Turkish Rose Otto to it, but I also (and I knew when I was

doing it something wasn't right) read my recipe wrong and added WAY too

much beeswax *lol* ;-p I could tell before I poured it by where it

cooled on the side of the container that ...well ... Houston we had a

problem So I ended up making the batch into 4 pretty pink Rose Otto

Votive Candles ... I'm about to go and light one now for the heck of it

- I'll let you know how well it burns .. and how strong it smells

LOL Chris , is this a new fad we can look forward to ? Shea Butter Rose votives

?? lol I have had days like that too. Maybe tomorrow will be brighter ! I hope
