This is a very basic recipe and easily be modified to include other soothing herbs and oils. *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Basic Red Clover Ointment Red Clover Blossoms, generous handful 8 oz olive oil by weight 2 oz (4 tbsp) beeswax In a Pyrex bowl, place a handful of red clover and cover with warm olive oil. Place in a pot of boiling water to keep oil warm. Let herb sit in warm oil for several hours. Strain. (The infusion step can also easily be done in a crock-pot on the low setting) Melt wax in a double boiler pot (top part of course and add the infused olive oil gradually. Stir.
