Guest guest
Yup, that's very true, only when it overheats. I still won't have the stuff in my house though. It's too easy to walk away from the stove, or for something to malfunction. Besides, if it's doing that to the birds, what is it doing to us? I infuriated my husband and tossed his saute pan when we moved in together, forget it - those birds are my kids, you know? I won't risk one thing like their lives over a pan. I know somebody personally who was heating soup one day, and she was very ill with the flu, and went to go sit down while her soup heated, and it went unnoticed - the pan got too hot and it killed her 6 quakers, some of her finch and her amazon. That would be the end of me. Kirstin --- Talisman Acres <talismanacres wrote: > Teflon is only dangerous to birds if it get too hot > or burns. Guest guest
Aside from that, they don't last, they scratch easily and they DO stick. Give me cast iron and stainless steel any day!
