Guest guest Posted March 8, 2005 Report Share Posted March 8, 2005 Hi, my name is Margot. I have been a lurker for a long time, I do apologise! I am a 41 yo, home crafter. I have made skincare products, (nothing major just basic stuff) for myself and my family off and on for the last 15 years. I have over the last three years been making mineral based makeup for myself. I have always been a hand crafts kind of person. i.e. sewing doll clothes for home made dolls when I was little, drawing, painting, beadwork, needlework, crochet, knitting, handspinning. I am attempting now to create some kind of small cottage industry business that will supplement our income. I left " regular " work about 6 months ago after working in business/bookkeeping/local government. Two part time jobs, 50 mile commute, crazy hours and burnout. I have been working mostly part-time at our local grocery store. I do still do a little bookkeeping on the side but nothing that provides much income. I am married with two boys, 17 and 13 years old. We have three cats, four dogs of our own and various foster dogs that we care for until they find their permanent homes. I am an altermative medicine/herbal combined with regular medicine kind of person. I look forward to getting to know you all better.
