Guest guest
This is my recipe that I made on Sunday to RAVE reviews from the family - I couldn't believe how much my guys ate (there were NO leftovers and this recipe made 8 Belgium waffles)! Leftover waffles, if there are any, freeze well and can be reheated in the toaster Enjoy! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Orange & Oats Multi-Grain Waffles 1/3 c. whole wheat flour 1/3 c. buckwheat flour 1/3 c. unbleached all-purpose flour 1/4 c. cornmeal 1/2 c. quick cooking oats 2 Tbsp. wheat germ 2 tsp. unrefined sugar (such as Muscovado) 1 & 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp. baking soda 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil of choice 1/4 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. milk 2 eggs Several drops Organic Cold Pressed Orange Essential Oil * Mix dry ingredients together. Mix in the wet ingredients with a whisk until the mixture is smooth. Let sit for a few minutes to soften the oats. Grease and heat waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer's instructions for your waffle iron. Serve topped with Butter or Virgin Coconut Oil - and pure Maple Syrup or Rose Petal Jam *When ever you use an EO in your cooking - ALWAYS be sure to know that you are using top quality oils that haven't been adulterated or monkeyed with and are from a reputable supplier !
