Guest guest
Well.... it took awhile but the third shoe finally dropped. Got a call from the school, went to pick up youngest daughter... took her to hospital, spent several hours waiting to be told " yep, it's broken " . >sigh< After breaking BOTH bones in her left arm by playing on the Monkey bars at school, she decides that's not enough. So today, she's up on the monkey bars and breaks the RIGHT arm. Won't know how badly until tomorrow when she gets casted up. She's already chosen her cast colour (purple) and now we have to drug her up until tomorrow. My mothers comment? " And she's supposed to be the BRIGHT one? " ROFLMAO!! this may be closer to the wrist than the last break as the top of her hand was beginning to swell, as well as the very lower most wrist. Two or three years ago, it was everyone getting REALLY ill, this seems to be the year for bones. I'm glad for one thing though, it's happening at school and not at home. Otherwise coppers would be knocking on my door. As it is, the nursing staff in both the emergency room and Urgent care recognize me now... That CAN'T be a good thing! ROFLMAO! Y'all... tell your kids to stay off the flipping Monkey Bars... specially in the morning when they're still slick with dew/mist/fog/rain. Cheers! Guest guest
Dang, woman, do you need to dress that child in BUBBLE WRAP? Candle will be lit for her. Is she in a cast on both arms now? Guest guest
Kathleen, Are you sure they just don't like to pick put the new colors for the cast. LOL Your sure right, if this was happening at home, you would be investagated by now. I have a nephew, no matter where he was something happened to him. While he was visiting us for a few days, he was on a sled, went into a fence. As soon as I called, my SIL asked what happened. I didn't know its was the normal for him. We took him to our Family Dr. My SIL called to give permission for him to be treated. My thoughts go out to you. Do hope this is the last broken bone you have to deal with. Guest guest
Hey Serra, Nope, she got the other cast off a week before Christmas. So she's had a good 2 and a bit months to experience life without a cast. Oh and.... My mother has told me it's all my fault. I knew it was somehow but you have to admit that she's has sound reasoning. She recently read the article on women in the industrialized countries poisoning their babies through their breastmilk and therefore as I breast fed all the little horrors, I damaged their little brains which contributes them to making bad choices... in summation... it's all my fault! ROFLMAO! Cheers! Guest guest
Oh, for the love of Pete! Sounds like my grandmother--she told my Mom once, in front of me, that she only raised one kid right! (no, it wasn't me). LOL, Serra On Thu, 3 Mar 2005 20:08:32 -0800, Woobey Queen <WoobeyQueen wrote: > > Hey Serra, > > Nope, she got the other cast off a week before Christmas.
