Guest guest
I too am a terrible teeth grinder, and have been for 18 + yrs. If her dentist hasn't already made her the mouth guard she should go to the Sports store and buy a mouth protector there, they are only abt $5.00 instead of the $50+ she would pay from the dentist. As far as I know there isn't anything that can be done, but if there is I would love to know about it also. Rahnny
Guest guest
Hello.....my 24 year old daughter has a bad habit of grinding her teeth at night and even catches herself clenching her teeth during the day which is resulting in headaches, jaw pain and alot of discomfort. Her dentist is making her a mold to wear at night but I thought maybe some of you had some helpful suggestions in this disorder.....Thanks bunches Linda
Guest guest
If you found a good hypnotherapist, they could help you to stop teeth grinding. Guest guest
You can also buy a mouth guard at most drugstores. I believe they are about $20...but would work until she can get a custom guard for the grinding. Sorry, I don't know of anything else. HTH a bit! Guest guest
Teeth grinding can be a sign of parasite infection. It is worth looking into! Acupressure works really well for relieving the tension. Good spots are right behind the ear and between the temple and the jaw bone. Get " Acupressure's potent points " by Michael Reed Gach. It is a great self-help book. Ien in the Kootenays **************************** " To treat life as less than a miracle is to give up on it.
