Do You Read the Tea Label?

Dear Group,

I would like to pass along something that I learned from a tea shop

owner several years ago. Read the ingredients label on the box of tea to see

if you are getting the real benefit of the tea and not just the taste from

the flavorings. Twinnings uses flavorings as does a number of the other tea

companies such as Celestial Seasonings. I now read ingredients on every box

of tea before I buy it. An example would be: for Earl Grey, I look for oil

of Bergamot or Bergamot oil such as is listed on Biggelow brand teas. Peach

tea is made from flavorings as are some of the other fruit teas. However, I

still buy them anyway for the taste. ;-D
