Laura,

HP's value is that it is ready to use as soon as it cools and is cut,

supposedly. I say supposedly because I always let it " cure " for a week anyway.

Just to be on th safe side. Also, it is, can't think of another word for it

except bumpy, looks like what your soap looks like in a sieze. You diffinitelyy

have to get all the air holes out, and trim the top if you use a slab mold, like

I do. HTH.

Hi Anita,

I just read what I wrote and realized I mixed up the cp and hp.

I make my soap using cold process (not the other way that I wrote it--

oops)

What I have read about hp is that you cook it until it reaches all these

different stages without boiling it or it may splatter and that seems so

complicated.

Using cp is pretty simple and I have never had a problem.

What is the advantage to hp? Does the soap cure quicker?
