Guest guest Posted January 26, 2005 Report Share Posted January 26, 2005 My cat Max brought home a baby possum this afternoon (dead of course) and yes I'm sure it was a possum. Now what is interesting is we live at 8,000ft and there is over 2 feet of snow on the ground. When I googled possum it indicates that they don't live in this part of the country (Colorado). This baby was about 2 – 21/2 in long and had fur, so it wasn't still in it mothers pouch. Any of you had experiences with possums?? Are they out and about this time of year? Poor Max, is having a very hard time waiting for spring and mice -- glad he didn't find the mama – she'd been a bit of a match for the cat – and she would have won!
