Hey Butch,

 

I looked for other messages regarding this topic, but didn't find many

under the search methods I chose (then I just typed in your name into

the search but didn't go back very far... sorry, just have laundry and

far too much other stuff to do. That darn laundry and other stuff was

weighing so heavily on my mind that I woke up at 4:30 am and got up to

take care of it all).

 

I'm trying to get a handle on all of this CODEX stuff... and I am

unsure as to what I can actually DO.

 

To me, this subject is not one that should inspire fear or take on

some drastic tone of immenent danger.

 

Hell, we've seen this before. Remember folic acid? You couldn't get

it above a certain dose for quite some time. Ridiculous stuff, but it

changed.

 

I do know that the pharma industry is dirty and they do indeed have a

lot of lobbying power in our country and others... I know that they

are concerned only with their profit at other's expense (health and

monetary).

 

I do know that EU has been overrun by this CODEX, but what exactly has

it meant/will it mean for them?

 

The tide can turn back also. There is such a thing as backlash when

enough people hear about it, understand it and then fight back against

it. For this reason (and the fact that people/groups who do such

things (CODEX) are cowards and when the money trail/facts are traced

and brought to light, their power fades) I do not see any reason for

the fear-mongering on this subject either.

 

Most people don't have any clue about such things (and when they do

find out, they go one of 2 ways... they follow the spin lines and

propoganda or they understand it well and decide to do something about

it). I am kind of counting myself in the 'clueless' group. I just

don't know enough about it (rather out of the loop in so many ways

lately).

 

Butch... can you agree that the 'reason' this is being done is money

in someone's pocket? Is there some vested interest in this? Or, are

we to believe that this is being met on/decided on/put into law truly

for their care and concern over our health and well-being? I guess

I'm looking for the same scathing remarks about CODEX and it's

supporters as I am seeing about this John Hammell guy (I know, I

know... I probably didn't look back far enough through the messages or

search under the right words).

 

Please direct me -anyone- to other posts/sites on this subject. I am

off to do laundry, but I am looking forward to becoming less 'clueless'!

Please explain the above .. why would anyone care that much about others

being against Codex .. especially regarding a matter going before a

Congressional committee? Tons of folks have spoke out against Codex. I

am against Codex .. I am against government control of the decisions I

make regarding my own health .. I'm against the non democratic European

Parliament for the same reason .. they are trying (and succeeding) to

control the day to day activities of Europeans. They see the citizens

of Europe as being brainless children who need their superior guidance,

and I strongly detest them and all they do but I am not concerned about

someone thinking that my dislike of them is grounds to consider me as a

threat to them .. nor do I believe this death threat crap above.

I checked out this IAHF list .. its a commercial venture. And this dude

tells a tale similar to the one Gary Young tells .. it goes like this:

Who are the tyrants he speaks of? This boy is really paranoid .. an

extremist to the inth degree. And you have been listening to him all

these years .. that explains your deep concern about Codex.

 

The boogie bear tales about Codex Alimentarious have been around since

it was kicked off in 1963 by the World Health Organization and the UN

Food and Agriculture Organization. To date it has not had a lot of

negative impact though it has created a lot of bureaucratic standards

and as well as positions for more bureaucrats.

Such bravery is rarely seen in paranoid people. Normally they cower

idiots make such statements .. its total bull $hit! The FBI is not

sitting around looking for things to do .. they are not keeping files on

people because of who their father is " alleged " to have been .. and they

don't even keep files on Intelligence Officers of Naval Intelligence,

DIA, CIA, NSA or any of the other 20 + Intel organizations functioning

FBI. I have worked with FBI agents before and know a fair bit about the

Bureau in general .. they do not hire flakes like the person described

above. This person is (methinks) really a NUT CASE .. or .. a not all
