I'm looking for 2 or 4 oz. flat tins (like the ones L'Occitane packages their

butters in).....anyone see them recently? I've been googling all night and I'm

about fed up.

Thanks!!!

Hey gal,

I know! I know! ::: jumping up and down waving my arms frantically :::

I just sent you details - cause we'd have to go direct from the

manufacturer, and that is no small minimum order, but maybe I smell a

tin co-op on the horizon *lol*

I just saw them at Sheri's Sonshine, a health food store in Lodi, CA. I do not

know their number, but you could check it with information.

Hi, Pat!

I'm the one who started this.....<beg>. I've been searching for them to no

avail and finally swallowed my pride and asked almost every single list I'm on!

LOL

Chris was nice enough to " volunteer " to do a co-op if there's enough interest,

and from the sounds of it I'm not the only one looking for these tins!

I'm definitely looking forward to the co-op.....can you tell? lol

Hi Chris,

I just want to make sure we are talking about the same tins. Not the type that

is available on the WSP and SKS site. I am talking about the tins that

L'Occitane uses that has the twist on the side of the bottom half. When you

turn the twist it flips up the top half of the tin. I believe that these are

also stainless steel.

If you know where to find these, please let me know or if there might be a co-op

for these count me in.

Thanks,

Sharon

Hi Sharon,

I contacted the rep to ask about that and it may be considered a

" custom " item, rather than a " stock " tin, and I'd have to see what kind

of minimums and pricing we'd be looking at ... so as I get the info,

I'll keep everyone posted :)

Have a great weekend folks! I am off to meet up with a customer on the

North West end of town ...

Hi Cindy,

I have not seen many square tins in the sizes you

want, but I did see some rounds. Not sure if these

might be helpful, but here they are. This place

doesn't have a minimum.

http://www.specialtybottle.com/index.asp?PageAction=Custom & ID=25

These are made for CD's so are much too large in the

square, but I thought I would throw them your way

anyway:

http://www.sks-bottle.com/340c/fin7f.html

You need to go about half way down the page for these

(sizes don't appear to be what you are looking for

but..):

http://www.kristyjdesigns.com/SweetSoyCandles/BulkCandleSupplies.html

http://www.herbsandheirlooms.com/id29.htm

http://www.clayalley.com/tins.htm

Maybe you can find something suitable by contacting

some of these places for additional contacts?

Good luck!
