Guest guest
Hi Butch, Apparently Australia is amongst the worst in the world :-( . Found this on a website discussing endangered species in Australia http://www.abs.gov.au/Ausstats/abs@.nsf/0/525e198ee27f1682ca2569de00267e45?OpenD\ ocument Since European settlement began, just over 200 years ago, 18 species of mammals and about 100 species of vascular plants have become extinct. Currently about 40 species of mammals and many hundreds of species of plants are threatened with extinction. These figures are the worst in the world. I, like you, hope the action being taken will reverse this trend. We never seem to learn do we.
