Guest guest
Here I am again, thanking this wonderful group. You are so good for me! I wanted to tell all of you who sent me the wonderful condolences thanks and Bless you all! We get teased sometimes because we are so close to our animals, but they are part of our family and they do so much for us..they give us loyalty, tons of love and teach us so many things, above all, how to be humble. We feel so much richer for having them in our lives and so grateful that we had the time we have had with them. I am so glad there are so many animal lovers in this group; it bonds us all together with our love with nature. Our poor little cat was so ill (he had cancer) and his going was a mercy. We are saddened, but still so glad we had him in our lives. We will be ok, for we know we will see him again, and in much better circumstances. I had been watching the tv about the Calif. landslides and am sending many prayers towards them and for those in the other western states who are going through so much right now. I have really been watching what happens in CA because my daughter is out there right now. She's not in southern CA, but I keep watching and hoping her area will be ok. She says everything where she is at is on a hill and you have to go down or up hill to go anywhere. With all the rain they are getting, I am worried about landslides where she is at. I have heard people down Californians, too. In fact, I have seen first-hand some of the tricks some people play on Californians. We have a lot of places around here that sell crafts and antiques, etc., to people, and my MIL and I would often go to these places, but when my sister, who lived in Calif. at that time, whould visit, and we took her to some of these places, and when some of the vendors saw her Calif. license plate, they would automatically raise the prices. They would argue until they were blue in the face if you called them on it, but what we always did was to come back a week later and use our car (without the Calif. plates) and guess what? the price was always back to its original price and we would just get whatever we wanted then. People can be really something at times. I've seen quilts go up $200 or more whenever tourists from Calif. are around. Anyway, got to go. I am freezing my patootie off right now and every cat I have left have taken up residence on the heat registers in this room and I am not getting any of the heat. Think I will turn on the electric blanket and time how fast it takes them to find out it's on. Talk to you later... Cherry ps..I am looking for a formula for a cucumber-ivy scent..I want to use eos and not fos to use in a hand cream. TIA..Cherry
Guest guest
We lost 2 of our dogs last month. I know what you mean about them being members of the family. Sasha passed in her sleep the day after her 13th birthday. She's been part of the family longer than the grand kids. Our oldest grand child will be 12 on Feb 18. It's not easy to say good bye to our fur babies. Here I am again, thanking this wonderful group. You are so good for me!
