meet up for lunch at the Onion Creek Café ... The Farmer's Market is

Tuesdays: Christ the King Lutheran Church parking lot, 2353 Rice Blvd at

Greenbriar

Every Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM

Houston Farmers Market New Year's Resolution: Eat More Veggies...

and eat more fresh foods in general, those grown close to home. The

nationwide growth of local farmers markets is being fueled by your

desire to know where your food was grown, how your food was grown and by

whom - so you can serve the freshest foods to your family.

Get to know your local growers this week, on Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM

in the Heights and on Tuesday from 4 PM to 7 PM in the Village. They

have a variety of sustainably grown fresh foods - so you can participate

in the positive change to eating better. Houston Farmers Market -

changing Houston's eating habits, one dinner plate at a time!

I am nowhere near Houston, but I

have a very dear long-distance friend

who lives in the Houston area.

 

She has been looking for a farmer's market.
