Guest guest
Hi Judy, It sounds as though you've certainly been through it girl. Hope you're feeling better every day! Re: those cramping muscles -- Are you taking enough calcium? 1,500 mg a day at 62. Is it absorbable calcium? (Not carbonate) Are you getting enough vitamin D with it? 400 IU a day or, preferrably from the sun or food? Magnesium? Taking plenty of that? Potassium may be a helpful addition. However, there are many medications where potassium, either through supplementation or potassium rich foods, is contraindicated. If you're using meds for your health conditions, please be sure to check them before adding potassium. This is just one idea. A few others are popping up. How's your circulation?
