Guest guest
Hey Chris... We recently read (was it here?) that the price of vanilla might plummet fiercely soon. Something about it being 10% of what it is now? Is this what you're buying in on? I just got some great Papua New Guinea organic vanilla beans from another co-op, and I'm thinking of holding out until the new market prices reflect the drop in the market. http://anyamccoy.com

Guest guest
Hi Anya, I've been keeping up with the vanilla bean market's pricing and I am working on getting us some great vanilla at a great price. The cost of vanilla beans undoubtedly has fallen over the past year, but all of my " inside sources " in the vanilla industry say its pretty much leveled off now and is right about where its going to stay for the time being, give or take a few dollars due to normal fluctuations in the commodities market ... *Smile* Chris (list mom - still in a bit of a fog this morning .. need to get my Earl Grey Tea!) http://www.alittleolfactory.com rastapoodle [mccoy] Hey Chris... Guest guest
They'll definitely be less than last year's average $230/lb wholesale prices (which is why I didn't have any vanilla beans last year!) *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com rastapoodle [mccoy] , " rastapoodle " <mccoy@n...> wrote: > > Hey Chris... > > We recently read (was it here?) that the price of vanilla might > plummet fiercely soon.
