Guest guest
Hi All! I've been a member of this group for only a few days and have already learned SO much!!! Thanks to all!!! Does anyone have a recipe for a mud bath? One of my co-worker's home here in New Orleans has become a remote home to the stars. One of the recent celebrities that stayed at the house, according to the cleaning crew, takes mud baths. I finially attempted a mud bath of my own tonight, just using a cheap mud mask that I get at the pharmacy since I'm out of dead sea mud. I thought it would be a good place to start experimenting ;-) While I enjoyed it, I only had lackluster results. Does anyone have a recipe for a mud bath! Guest guest
Cheap garden peatmoss makes an excellent mud bath. Used int he finest European spas.. It's very healing , especially for arthritis. I use old pillowcases* filled with peat and squish them through hot water, than apply where it hurts. Simple, effective and it works. It's not as drying out as clay is. Also a preservative, it used to mummify people that got sucked into the bogs or thrown in there for punishment... C-M * filled half full , than knotted, can be reused a few times, than in the garden it goes...
