Guest guest
Hello all...just wanted to say thank you for your suggestions. I finally got success with Shout and then vinegar..I wish I did have a wet-dry vac to hasten the drying, but had to make do with shower curtain rod. Blanket is back on bed, and it works!..and poor sick kitty has found a place he likes better than my bed..thank heavens! He is now parked in front of the heating vent in the bathroom on the rug. We have to do some pretty good stepping to get around him when we go into the room, but it is fine. We need the exercise. I have been reading the posts about the bladder infection and I have had lots of experience with that, believe me. I had discovered corn silk tea back when I had the infections a lot and it works like a charm. Parsley tea is another tea that sometimes helps, too. I liked the corn silk method a lot better than the cranberry juice--it was a lot easier on my stomach. Had the infections all the time, and then heard about carbonated drinks, especially Coke, Pepsi, etc., causing infections and I quit drinking pop period. Now I have a Pepsi once in a blue moon, and the best news is that it has been years since I had my last bladder infection. I have also been drinking lots more water and I keep a large bottle of water with me all the time. Hope this helps... Cherry
