I searched the files section and didn't find anything on Dead Sea mud.

Anybody have any recipes to share? Also got some finely ground Dead

Sea salt.

I would be interested as well...have the mud, and need the amount/lb. of oils if

anyone out there makes soap with it.

Anya,I sell it to customers to use the mud by itself as a face mask. Put it on,

and let it dry, then wash off. One lady says it is helping clear up her

Rosacia(sp?). Others use it for deep cleaning and firming.

The dead sea salt can also be used by itself. I've heard that it is as good as,

if not better than magnisium sulfate(epsom salts) in helping to relax those tire

muscles.

Hello Anya:

I make DSM soap all the time and you can use just about any recipe you like and

just add the dead sea mud in that. I tend to add more luxury oils to mine and

castor oil for lather at 5%. I hope this helps.

Anita,

For soap (I presume you make CP or similar?), I use 2 tablespoons of the mud per

pound of oil. Put the it in the oil mix prior to adding the lye solution, or

you will have clumps of mud in your soap....lol.

Thanks for everyone's input. I'm not a soaper, so that's out. I guess

I'll just use it as a face and hair masque. I rarely take a bath, so

the salts might be used in a scrub.

Doesn't anyone use the salt in food? I didn't find any reference to

that, and if so, it must be the only salt in the world not eaten, LOL.
