Does anyone have a good source for bulk honey?

Where do you live? One of the men here at work has hives & can sell his

honey as little or much as you want - he's in Houston, Tx area. It is a

good honey

I do have a question for all of you:

I was at Glory Bee's in Eugene, Ore & looking at all of the different

honey's, wanted a fireweed honey. Anyway, the clerk was telling me they rarely

get

the poison oak honey got in a few jars, hadn't put them out yet & still had

some. I tasted it - not bad. He wasn't familiar with it but the

" naturalist/herbalists " buy it all up whenever it comes in. The honey post

reminded me

that I had some - anyone use it? Know why it is so special? Guess I will

try " googling " it. Thanks for any info

The idea is that ingesting small amounts of the

offending plant, in this case poison oak, will build

your immunity to the plant itself.

Lots of people swear by this method, whether by

ingesting honey made from poison oak blooms or by

ingesting small amounts in a capsule.

Lots of people buy ordinary " local to their area "

honey to boost their immune systems against seasonal

allergies.

It's certainly food for thought!

It works.

Fir years, I have gotten honey from a beekeeper in my area and star

taking at least a spoonful ever day, starting in February.

It's been a real help with pollen allergies.

What is important is that one takes the honey from the area you live in .
