Hi Ien,

We can cover exotic stuff ... pretty much the goal is to over time learn

as much as we can about as many herbs as we can and we'll do it together

a week at a time.

Are exotics allowed, or does it have to be

something we can grow?

Thanks, must have missed that one :-( .... did a message search so I

could go back to it...

message 23012 is the intro.

I'm thinking that it may be neat to have a series of discussions on

qualities of herbs..... just to see if there's a correlation between

what the herbs do and what they are used for, for instance, comfrey and

slippery elm are both muscilinous (sp?) and treat inflamation and from

what I've read, joint health ..... what other muscilinous (sp?) herbs

are there out there, and uses for them?

Great! I love messing about with temperate herbs and learning more about them.

And (It's and, not but)I have a business

with exotics, that is helping to save

chunks of Rainforest in partnership with

indigenous Amazonians.

I just compiled something for my business

partners on Sangre de Drago.

I'll fix it up so it is more suitable

for this list. and I'll send it to you

for editing and approval!
