Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I have been following your list for several months now and am SO glad to have found a group of such knowledgable individuals who share the same passions as I, although I haven't had the chance to participate in any discussions as of yet. My very strong desire to start schooling has however brought me out of the proverbial woodwork to get some opinions on schooling. One school in particular, ACHS (Australasian College of Health Sciences). I know that much of the knowledge that I will be using, and have used, will be through self study, trial and error and from well respected individuals in the aromatherapy community. I am interested in obtaining my holistic health certification with an intent to specialize in aromatherapy and flower essences. I currently use both of these modalities with the horses that are in my care, and often offer suggestions for the horses of acquaintences. Horses respond so honestly and their reactions are so apparent, that I have always felt more comfortable working with them, rather than with people. Plus, I have to admit, I trust horses more than I do humans and find their company more enjoyable at times. LOL. So, now that I have rambled ... does anyone have an opinion of ACHS specifically? Obtaining certifications in the holistic health fields? Anything really that might help me make a more well-informed decisions. After months of research into distance education courses, ACHS seemed to be the best fit and offer the closest thing to what I am looking for.
