Guest guest
Hi Deni, > Hi my name is Deni and I am new. I joined because I have spent so > much time trying to evaluate sources of oils, ect., that I thought > this might be a good place to find good info. Welcome aboard .. and you found the place to get good info. > Right now I am trying to find a really GREAT rose hip oil. What do you think a really GREAT rose hip seed oil is? I'm not trying to be funny .. I am serious. The quality Rose Hip Seed oil comes from Chili .. that's pretty much accepted as a fact. And there are not all that many folks in Chili producing it .. nor are their prices all that much different. > I was just about to spend about $20 for a half oz. ~when I saw it > for $6 an oz, I think at ol factory. Lemme say that prices are based on many things .. volume of sales is one of the factors .. another is the volume of purchase of the seller. For example, I buy Rose Hip Seed Oil (Rosa mosqueta) in 25 kilogram barrels but I sell 10 kilos or so a month .. so my prices might be different from another seller's Retail price. Its a matter of volume of sales. Another example .. yesterday I ordered a Canon Powershot A95 Digital Camera .. 5.0 Megapixels with all the accessories .. including wide angle and telephoto lens, etc. In comparing prices on the Net for the EXACT SAME basic camera unit .. I found it selling from $279 to $485. Can we expect a difference in the quality of one Canon A95 from another Canon A95? Nuff said! > This seems sooo much less, that I am wondering if there are varying > grades. Not that I am aware of .. at least not if its Origin Chili. The Rose Hip Seed from Chili is pretty standard. > Yet, I have only heard the best things about ol factory and I have > wonderful oils from av-at and I have heard they are affiliated. Christine Ziegler .. the List Mama of this list .. is the owner of A LittleOlFactory .. and she has good products .. proven quality. Butch Owen (yours truly) is the owner of Appalachian Valley Natural Products and that rascal also have proven quality products .. and I thank you for myself and also for Chris for the kind words. :-) But .. there is no affiliation betwixt the two companies. The owners are friends and Chris is the Web Mistress for my web site. :-p > If anyone cares to enlighten me in any way~ I am soooo open to it! Done the best I could .. and again .. welcome aboard. > warmly, deni Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
