Guest guest
Interesting... I came up as a Shepherd this time. I took this test a couple of years ago, and was a Benevolent Ruler that time! Guest guest
I am a shepard. Guess that suits me also as I have worked with foster care for 22 years and the last 4 years worked in the dorms with all my students as a job corps center. Guest guest
<<Wow! I'm a shepherd...guess that suits my current career in the nursing home business. Kathy>> Yep, sounds about right. I was profiled as a Shepherd, too, and I work the following jobs: one as an assistant kindergarten instructor, the other as a remedial reading teacher. For once, a personality test pans out for me! Usually when I take them the results reflect someone I barely recognize. I think it's because the questions are often so ambiguous as to be interpreted in a variety of ways. Or else I'm just waaaay too analytical, causing my answers to be ambivalent at best. Does that happen to you, too? jaime

Guest guest
Well, I too am a dreamer/minstrel. Don't really understand that one....as most of the time I am the first one that's b*tching and complaining that there is NO silver lining! LOL Well, I guess I am somewhat of a dreamer, and maybe a bit more soft hearted than I care to let others know. Thanks for the entertainment, Chris. I certainly needed it. It did actually describe me pretty well. Candy in Alabama
Guest guest
Usually I try to answer honestly but some how the end result doesn't quite fit. You know that of all the other jobs I have had I really like this one the most, I just wish that after 6 years at the same place that I would have gained a little respect. Administration thinks of me as a worker and the people on the floor think of me as administration. I am between a rock and a hard place. Recently I told the boss that I was looking for something else and he seemed surprized. He came back a few days later and gave me a quarter an hour raise. He claims that I deserve it but I really would like to have the respect as money is nice to pay the bills but I have never really enjoyed the money end. He could have given me my own office or a different title and I would have been thrilled. By the way did I mention that I have been on a wage freeze for almost 2 years. Guest guest
Kathy, I know what you mean about a rock and a hard place. I was neither fish nor fowl, bird nor beast when I was running the science program at my school. I was teaching science to all grade levels but I wasn't a full-time, credentialed teacher, so the certificated staff didn't treat me as one of them; I was designing and implementing a science curriculum so I had more responsibility and autonomy than a paraeducator, so the classified staff didn't treat me as one of themselves, either. There was no category for what I was doing and no neat little niche. It was uncomfortable. Educators tend to be quite clique-ish when it comes to certificated and classified employees (at least in my district). People were nice but neither group ever fully welcomed me as one of their own. I existed in a sort of no-man's-land. jaime
