Guest guest
Merry Christmas to everyone! I think it's the first white Christmas we've ever had here in Houston. About every 7 - 10 years, we get enough snow to actually stick to the ground, but never on Christmas. We had some flurries on Christmas Eve and the grandkids were fascinated, but then last nite when I went out to go to the store for last minute Christmas dinner preps, My car was covered with snow and it was even sticking to the ground. By the time I got home, my daughter & fiance were out marveling at the snowcovered lawn and had built a 6 inch snowman!!! hee hee OK go ahead and laugh at me, but this is a big deal here!!!!!!!!!! I've got the ham in the oven, and will make stove top stuffing & etc for dinner. Will probably have most of my family here in this tiny house. A wonderful friend of ours bought us a Christmas tree & gifts for the kids since we have been so strapped, and we decorated the tree yesterday. OK, I'll quit rambling. Hope you all have a wonderful day. Hugs, Pat
Guest guest
Snow...Hmmm... We got loads to share if you need some.. Hanging about a foot from my roof and the snowplows are out without a break. Although we are used to the onslaught of it, enough is enough... Must be all the skiers up here who have been praying... Zooooom.......Splatch, here comes a snowball. C-M
Guest guest
Merry Christmas to All and to All a Goodnight! May You All Be Blessed With A Joyous, Happy, Harmonious, Busy, Propsperous and Healthy New Year! May You All Be Greeted With Love, Smiles, and Good Cheer Wherever You May Go and May You Return These Greetings The Same. We have been blessed to have our son home for the Holidays from the US Naval Academy and we pray that your families will all be home from wherever in the world that they have been safely, happy, joyously, and healthy. We are all so fortunate to be living in a free country where we can travel from the Atlantic to the Pacific without encountering problems because we have a strong military on guard to protect us. Please remember all of our soldiers in the military at this time of the year. Send them your prayers and blessings and remember that we also need to remember them when there is no holiday. These young people lay down their lives for us each and every day to protect us, their families and loved ones. Take care of yourselves and your families. God Bless Every One of You Now and For All Times.
