Greetings,

I read a book recently that had a passage that caught my attention, I

thought this might be fun to share, this being a very close and friendly

group.

The people of Moose County, 400 miles north of everywhere believed that each

person knew and loved at least two lines of a poem, this was used as their

birthday poem.

I'll share mine with you and invite you to share yours.

I love thee with the breath, smiles, tears, of all my life! -- and, if God

choose,

I shall but love thee better after death.

My favourite! ~ Thanks Debra

" Once upon a midnight dreary

While I pondered weak and weary over many a quaint and curious volumes of

forgotten lore,

While I nodded nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping as of someone

gently rapping, tapping at my chamber door.

Ah distinctly I remember

It was in the bleak December and each separate dying ember casts it's

shadow on the floor... "

Edgar Allen Poe " The Raven "

(had to get December in there, after all it IS Christmas! ROFLMAO!)

Cheers!

P.S. May not be completely accurate, after all, I memorized this thing
