Hot Buttered Rum holliday drink recipe! (yummm)

With the holidays here we may have seen alot of bath and body

recipies made with " Buttered Rum " fragrance oil. but my favorite is

the Hot Buttered Rum that you can drink. although i love this drink,

i only make it on Thanksgiving and Christmas.( VERY FATTENING! )

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup butter

in saucepan heat theese ingriedents on low stirring often until

dissolved and smooth. Then place in blender and add:

2 cups of vannila ice cream < blend and refridgerate >

 

TO SERVE: IN COFFEE MUG, ADD 1 SHOT OF SPICED RUM, 2-3 TBSP. OF

REFRIDGERATED MIX AND BOILING WATER-Stir and enjoy!

Mix will stay fresh for 1 week in fridge. So when guests come,

just put the pot of water on to boil!

BY the way , kids love this too but just remember ... NO RUM for

them- That's for us!
