Andrea,

Could you tell me how you make this makeup you use for yourself?? I have

rosacia, and I've been looking for something to help with the condition, and

cover up the discoloration. My cheeks stay red....and even though I

moisturize, the spots on my cheeks look scaly after applying regular makeup.

I've been trying a little bit of everything for several years, and I was

doing better for a while, but it's getting worse again. <sigh> I would

appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks,

Candy

Hi Andrea,

Take a look at http://www.monave.com She has hobbyist kits available with a

booklet of instructions and formulas. She can also help you with choosing a

foundation color as well.

hth,

Sharon

Hi Candy,

I make my own skincare products (a serum that has several EO's

targeted for my skin (the base is rosehip seed oil and kukui oil with

neroli, rose, lavender, frankencense... EO's), rose hydrosol (which of

course I don't make, but it does absolute wonders for my skin), a shea

butter-based moisturizer and several masks and other treatments.

The mineral makeup I do not make. I buy mine from 2 companies mainly.

They are Bare Escentuals and Cory Cosmetics. I love both equally.

I did not ever get around to trying Monave's, but I have heard lots of

good things about hers.

Sharon steered you in the right direction for making your own.

Now, for some good skincare --I highly suggest Sharon's!! You can

email her to get her web addy. I tried her skincare out and her shea

butter-based cream moisturizer was heavenly. Really nice products.

Between Monave and Cory Cosmetics and Sharon, I really believe you

will get a lot of help for your rosacae and a flawless look with the

makeup. These ladies are all helpful and hands-on! Bare Escentuals

is a bigger company and you won't get as much info & help as you will

with the others. Careful! The colors and 'the look' are addictive!

Andrea
