Essential oil of benzoin does not exist. All you get is benzoin

resin dissolved in a solvent. Most times that solvent is synthetic

and a large proportion of the so called " oil " is therefore

synthetic. There may be a few suppliers who use a natural solvent,

or at least that's what they are told by the bs agents in the

distribution trade.

See I didn't think it came in an e/o, I have powdered Benzoin. Or I should say

rocky! So when a recipe calls for benzoin they mean to use the powder? Cause

It's down near the end of a sandy maine recipe I'd love to try but it says E/O

or F/O 1 ounce Benzoin? I'm confused lucy!
