Guest guest
Essential oil of benzoin does not exist. All you get is benzoin resin dissolved in a solvent. Most times that solvent is synthetic and a large proportion of the so called " oil " is therefore synthetic. There may be a few suppliers who use a natural solvent, or at least that's what they are told by the bs agents in the distribution trade. , " sindy anderson " <sssoap@c...> wrote: > funny you should mention that! Guest guest
See I didn't think it came in an e/o, I have powdered Benzoin. Or I should say rocky! So when a recipe calls for benzoin they mean to use the powder? Cause It's down near the end of a sandy maine recipe I'd love to try but it says E/O or F/O 1 ounce Benzoin? I'm confused lucy! Thanks sindy - Preservatives/Styrax benzoin-reply to Sindy Essential oil of benzoin does not exist. All you get is benzoin resin dissolved in a solvent.
