Guest guest
I just deleted that post after receiving some offline e-mail messages telling me what I could expect to find in it and only getting as far as the first few lines to see the e-mails were warranted but this one point was interesting. I have been online a lot working on my supply line with Chris Ziegler and she can testify to that and how long it has taken. I'm also online a lot researching new teaching locations since I cannot use my basement and it appears all the world has a website for 'contact us' and e-mail is a faster response than a phone call that goes into voice mail. I'm also online helping moms who have e-mailed me offline and wanted help locating doulas and birth educators near them. I'm also online a lot because I do look up lesson plans for my kids - the internet is a marvelous tool for homeschoolers. I'm also online as my husband works nights and it is easier if we e-mail what we need from each other in order to keep the homefront running smooth. He's a journalist and lead editor and as news is 23/7 he can't be on the phone with me whenever we need to. E-mailing he can respond when he can and I can respond when I can after doing everything else I'm doing online. The computer is on a lot as responding many times means in between reading a lesson, cooking a meal, cleaning the house, running an errand, doing laundry, caring for the pets. It's on all the time. If I'm not on it my husband or the kids are as he works from home and the kids sometimes do research and sometimes get a break and have fun on the computer - they love a lot of the word games at . So thanks Butch for making me realize that. When I went no-mail for those few days from knocking out the basement I should have left it that way and not just this group. It just so happened there were some birth posts going on so I kept going back. It is the holidays and I think Chris and I have finally wrapped up what we needed to do. I'm awaiting my first stock that took us many weeks to figure out as it included my own personal items that she offered to put together for me to save me some time from everything else I am doing as a wife and mother. She was trying to accomplish this in between handling her holiday orders and shipping out the rose absolute coop. She's out ill and I'm burning the candle at both ends and refusing to get sick. I am going to take that much needed break and do what is really important - put everything into perspective and realize my priorities. My family including walks in the woods w/ my four footed child, my pregnant mamas and finishing my coursework with Martin. Dale
