Glad you are doing better .. the List Mom is also down and out .. been that way for three days now .. that's why she has not been on line. Good it is .. methinks .. that you are trying to avoid synthetic antibiotics if possible. > I have heard that nettles and thyme are good to take but I am not sure > if it is as an tea or if it is as essential oils. Does anyone know more > about those herbs in this case? I also heard lobelia is good for chest > colds and I know elecampane (sp?) is good for that but I am not sure of > the method or dose. I know allegies triggered this sinus episode and I > also have been coughing my head off and I would like to those herbs but > I want to know more about it. I know nothing of the above .. but I'm sure someone here will reply. But you have in hand now .. or will have tomorrow or so .. what you can try for sinus infections .. Origanum vulgare .. just sniff it. I had recurring sinus infections for the first two thirds of my life .. and took antibiotics routinely cause that's what Uncle Sugar told me to do. Then years later an olddddddd Turkish medical doctor told me to stop the antibiotics .. told me I had not had many sinus infections .. I had had the same sinus infection many times. Told me to use Oregano EO and I did and I have NOT had one in many, many years .. but prior to that it was a couple of times a year. > My daughter is coming home tonight! My hubby has really gone out of > his way to fix up her room (you know how it is, when the kids move > out, their rooms end up being used for other things.). Good show .. Merry Christmas to you all. :-) (Snipped) > I got her recent accomplishments mixed up on my other posts..she is > now Senior Squad Leader and is in charge of all incoming new airmen > to that post. Great it is that she is showing the system she has leadership talent. > There have been a lot coming in each cycle so recruitments must be up. Contrary to what the media would have us believe .. volunteers are many now .. but not all that many want to reenlist and its understandable in the middle of a war. > She has more authority now and more duties and I don't know how she > does it with her training she has to do along with all this. You don't gotta know .. just accept it. ;-) Along with authority come responsibility and also some privileges. > She is in training to be a Linguist and it takes about two years to > train for that. Must be gonna study Russian or Arabic .. and at Presideo of Monterey? > One of the longest tech schools for Airmen. Plus she has all this > other training do to, survival, wilderness, water, and I don't know > what else. I have to give her credit. It takes guts and determination > to do all this and we are just busting our buttons we are so proud. Reason enough to be proud .. and what you described above is the typical young folk entering any of the military services now. > I do want to say this..to all the other military mothers and fathers > and other members involved with the military here...Bless each and > every one of you...all of you are in my prayers and I am so grateful > you are all here! Amen on that .. and I'll add for the benefit of those who don't know me or might think they do but don't really .. if they wanna see me turn from being a mild and meek lamb type critter into a problem child all they gotta do is criticize our military folks. Matters not to me if their complaint is justified or not .. I am sorta arbitrary where that subject is concerned. ;-) (Snip) > Saskia, Rita, Anita and Pam...thank you for your messages. I have > taken your suggestions and your encouragements have helped me a > lot. Rita, especially...your military experiences make me proud to > be part of this with you. Good it is. :-) > Butch..thank you so very much for your encouragement, also. Your > company is outstanding and your people are the best! Welcome you are .. and thankee mucho. :-p > Now I am going to drag this aching old body away from the computer > and get going on those creams I want to make. I am hoping to have > some hand creams made for Christmas and if my sinuses will ever open > up maybe I can even smell what I am making. Take care all of you > and will talk to you later... Open them with a drop of two of Eucalyptus globulus or Rosmarinus officinalis, Cineole .. in a cuppa hot water .. cup your hands over the cup and inhale .. you can not overdose .. that is not possible. > Cherry Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
