Help - can anyone read German?

I got an email about something that was posted on ebay, but the answer is in

German. I took German in high school a few decades ago and it's not helping

at all. LOL

Thank you for your offer. I used one of those free translators on the web.

It did a good enough job to translate email so I could understand the

person's response. I was asking about an item on ebay that the person in

Germany

had for sale, but it was actually a fraud. Somebody had hacked the German

person's account. I knew it was too good a deal. You would have thought when

I

contacted Ebay about the sale, they would have known. But atleast they were

smart enough to tell me not to bid on it since I hadn't received an answer.

Yeah, you have to watch out for ebay. They also say watch out for

items that doesn't use PayPal or is paid through Ebay directly and

ask you to send your credit card info directly to the seller. There

have been several people get taken that way.
