Guest guest
Hi Christa, You are probably right. And, from what Martin said, you are right. I'm more wont to believe what our ancestors knew than what the modern marketers are telling us today. thanks, Sandar

Things get twisted, taken out of context, extrapolated on pure supposition from the original truth.... things get passed around all over the place, coming from so many areas and some have no basis in truth (scientifically proven or otherwise). From what I have gathered about Martin's point of view is that he really wants to round up all of these loose flapping ends surrounding herbalism and AT (and a few other areas) and cut off the untruths with scientific backing/info/study. He doesn't have any other intent. When I first saw Martin's postings I thought " this guy is into science and scientific methods and I am not! I'm more into natural, simple, proven and safe. " Well, I have come to find out (through reading more of his posts and his web site) that Martin is all about natural, simple, proven and safe --with a lot of scientific study and methods to prove that it is natural, simple, proven and safe. And Martin totally believes that what the modern marketers are telling us today is total crap! But he (and others) are finding a lot of those " modern marketers " technique surrounding herbalism and AT... the same type of marketing hype is infiltrating those areas and he is just going to cut out the crap. Just my viewpoint on it... Andrea
Guest guest
Thank you Andrea, you said it beautifully. Right now I am being forced to waste more of my time investigating claims being made on an Italian website of a guy who claims to sell banned animal based fragrances. Also, a US based so called " natural perfumer " who is misleading people with her web hype into thinking her perfumes are natural when they are synthetic. Said it before and I will say it again, do not believe a fraction of what is on web sites. There is no policing of what is said or claimed. Why do I do it? Because I hate the lying cheating scammers who have made massive inroads into natural therapies.
