Extra-Virgin Olive Oil ** Was: oil holders?

I'm fairly confident that you don't keep Extra-Virgin Olive Oil in the

refrigerator .. and some folks might think otherwise if we don't let'em

know that its not a good idea to do this .. nor is it necessary.

 

If its placed in the refrigerator it will " Winterize " .. thicken and the

color will be off. This won't hurt it and it will return to normal

consistency when it is brought back to room temperature. Point is, its

not going to help it or extend the shelf life by refrigeration. All its

gonna do is take up room in the refrigerator.
