" and I have sold them to perpetually disgruntled curmudgeons. ;-)

I'm one of those " perpetually disgruntled crumudgeons' who bought one a bit

over three years ago, before I had Hunny Bunny. That robe is still going

strong and still gorgeous and still loved.

My wittle testimonial.

Cheers!

Hi y'all,

Though this is ad day .. this is not an advertisement .. its a notice.

Its not an advertisement because the robes I have on hand will likely

sell out in the next two weeks. Its a notice because I am accustomed to

letting folks on this list have first shot at the goodies I offer.

I have no competition and first come first served is where its at.

Since 1999 I have sold over 3,000 of these 100% Cotton Turkish Robes.

Each year we sell more in December than we sell the rest of the year ..

this year is no exception .. they're going out the door daily now via

walk in buyers and e-mail orders.

And .. since 1999 there will be many people ordering between now and

Christmas who will not be able to get what they want .. or get it when

they want .. especially those who order 4-5 days before Christmas and

want guaranteed delivery .. there is no such thing available during the

holiday season unless one wants to pay big bucks for express service.

I'm not going to go into a lotta humma-humma about these robes .. most

of the information anyone needs is contained on my web site .. at URL

http://www.av-at.com/robes.html

But .. being a practical kinda feller .. below I have answered what are

typically the questions asked by buyers .. I don't have this information

on the site because I don't want to clutter it with what might appear to

be marketing humma-humma .. don't need marketing to sell these robes.

Below is what I have left in stock as of a couple of hours ago.

Small Medium Large X-Large TOTAL

Blue 0 14 0 0 14

Pink 5 3 20 2 30

White 0 11 4 0 15

Yellow 10 5 11 13 39

Shipping: FedEx Ground is the least costly .. matters not where you

live in the USA .. U.S. Postal is high for this package.

Weight: Approximately 3.5 pounds .. net. There is no heavier robe made

today .. 460 grams of pile per sq. meter of warp is the maximum.

Length: Mid knee to Ankle.

Sizing: What you see. Small is for maybe 5'3 " and under and 135 pounds

or so. Medium up to 5'7 " or so and 155 pounds. Large up to 6' or so

and 190 lbs. X-Large means just that.

Cut: These robes are not cut for style .. they are cut for comfort.

Good for lounging around .. reading and such.

Cost: $39.95 per robe. Why so low? Cause I am stupid. ;-)

Volume Discounts? NO! They are already too low in price .. in fact,

lower than one pays retail in Turkey. Even the wholesalers in Turkey

have to pay the 23% Value Added Tax .. I don't. I get them for Export

cost from the mills in Denizli, Turkey .. the same mills that have

produced the famous Turkish towels and robes for 200 or so years.

Do I have Turkish Towels? NO! And I don't want to deal with them as

they sit too long on the shelf .. most Americans prefer Walmart towels.

Do We Monogram? NO! We have no such capability.

By New Year we will probably have none of the robes left .. and I will

not restock until March or so .. the same as every year.

To date NO person has been dissatisfied with one of these robes .. and I

have sold them to perpetually disgruntled curmudgeons. ;-)

So .. that's my notice .. the ball is in your court.

Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com

PS: One more thing .. sometimes new folks place orders and then don't

send in their credit card information or Pay Pal, etc. In the case of

these robes .. I can wait but 48 hours for notification of some form of

payment .. after that .. I can't hold the robe any longer because there

will be folks wanting it .. that's a given.
