Hi all,

I'm making an Aussie Clay pink soap and have a nice bottle of Rose

Geranium. I need a blend. I thought of Sandalwood. Any other

ideas? I'm stumped, just can't think.

Happy holidays,

Bobbye

Bobbye,

Rose geranium goes well with neroli, lavender, bergamot, mandarin, rosewood,

palmarosa....and on and on. There are so many. Hope this helps.

YlangYlang - very yum !

pelargonium graveolens is the " scented geranium " that a lot of people grow

.... all sorts of scents (I used to have a gorgeous lemon one.)

many are rose scented, and the leaves are distilled to produce rose

geranium eo. I have also seen " pelargonium roseum " as the species. I

also have once had a rose geranium oil that smelled " too good to be

true " ... come to find out the aroma had been 'boosted' by adding a bit of

rose absolute. so...it is POSSIBLE that there is some so called rose

geranium EO out there that is produced by compounding other products. But

it shouldn't be... it should be a pure, natural essential oil.

Now... if someone out there is selling it for $10 a lb... then be very wary

indeed... (like the socalled true rose oil I've seen offered for $30 an

ounce!)
