Guest guest
The secret to staying young is talked about in the movie, What the Bleep do We Know. Here's how I heard it: ---our cells have receptor sites for intake and release of vitamins, minerals, fluids and waste. When we have addictions to emotions or foods or drugs, when we are depressed or angry, when we have cravings for food and overeat, our body produces peptides in the hypothalmus. These peptides each have differing roles, you should see the sex peptides! When they enter a cell, they change its makeup to suit the peptides and the addictions. Any emotion you cannot control is an addiction. The cells and the addictions require more and more peptides to keep them happy. So more and more receptor sites get peptides in them, and these actually move in and lock in place, like a key. Peptides are protein chains that the body produces to compensate for stress created by the emotions of the human. Then when the cell splits, the new cell has more receptor sites specifically for the addiction and the peptides, and less receptor cites for intake and release of vitamins, minerals, fluids and waste. So we age.--- It is a known fact that people in the far East, who devote their lives to God, and give up addictions in the process, don't age like others of us do. The lady who owns a local restaurant, Long Life Vegi House, is Chinese. She is 55 and looks to be no older than 35. No gray hair, she has no extra poundage on her healthy body, she glows with health. She is vegetarian almost, she eats just a little fish. She doesn't drink or smoke. There are people living in the Himalayas who live to be well over 100, and are healthy and happy. It is our technology which has far surpassed our humanity, that also cause us to age. Want to feel better? Don't reach for another bottle of technology! Reach for an apple, a drink of pure water, and talk a walk in the forest. Meditate on just how beautiful and magnificent you are! Make sure you praise someone every day. Express gratitude for things. Love yourself, forgive yourself. Think yourself young!

Guest guest
Hi Carol, It's challenging to describe this movie and I think each person might perceive it in their own way. It's more of an experience than something you can explain. I hope you'll have a chance to see it! As I wrote before, I think it's a good reminder of things we know deep inside but have (often) been conditioned to forget. It's a very good reminder about taking responsibility for our lives and all we experience. And, then some! Visit this website for a little more info. http://www.whatthebleep.com Enjoy!
