Guest guest
- gailrice Tuesday, December 07, 2004 1:00 AM OT: Seuss says Ien, I love your tag line:-) Thanks. The good doctor is my favorite twentieth century philosopher! Do you know which book it comes from? I'm watching the Grinch right now. Gail Rice It is from my all time fave Dr Seuss book: Did I ever tell you how lucky you are? The bulk of the book is these wonderful, insane illustrations of places and people you're lucky you're not. They have become proverbial in my family. Like Professor De Friese who is trying to teach Irish ducks how to read Jivvanese. When my son tries to explain something scientific my brain always glazes over within 5 minutes, and I tell him its Irish ducks time. Sniff. I miss having little kids to read to. My fave memory of their childhood are having a child on each side and reading aloud. Only grandson (6) only likes non-fiction. He is a factoid freak. I just want to take him to Narnia.
